The peer review was a great experiences for me. I truly loved the entire process of having my peers review my work and me review my peers essays. I struggle with writing sometimes because I really do not have good grammar. In other words, having my peers look over my essay showed me a few things that I needed to fix that did realize was wrong with it. Also, my fellow students also gave me good feed back and not all negative feed back. For example, some of the comments talked about the grammar issues I had and some comments talked about using things like commas and quotation marks. Some of the good things that were said about my essay was that I had good information and that my essay was enjoyable to read. I feel like I gave a lot of helpful feed back because what I had problems with other people were good at and what they had problems with I was good at. So from each person I learned something different even if it was just by pointing out their mistakes. In my opinion, I had good topic sentences that connected to what I was talking about. Also, my thesis was very strong. However, I had a lot of grammar issues, when I am starting to polish my essay my first step is to take the advice of my peers. Then I will read over my essay and try to figure out if I need any commas or grammar words fixed. I set a time to work on this essay so I would not feel rushed and can focus. My schedule for completing this draft is everyday look at it and see what I can fix because I feel like the more I look at the more things I will find that will need to be fixed.
